Comments: (Sat. Aug 9th 2014) Yellow Tail continues to amaze us. A great tasting wine for a great price.
Comments: (Mon. June 23rd 2014) Remains a consistent and great tasting wine, just slightly below room temperature or even chilled.
Comments: (Sat. May 10th 2014) Consistently a great tasting wine. It even tastes better after chilling in the fridge. The Yellow Tail brand makes surprisingly great tasting wine for a great price.
Comments: We must have not recorded the date when we purchased this wine. It was very tasty and also after chilling on the second night. An impressive wine that we'll have to try again. We purchased another bottle, so we'll see if it remains consistent. We are continually impressed with the Yellow Tail brand.

Comments: We haven't had much luck with Malbec's. They tend to be very light in taste. Unfortunately, this falls into the same category. Light in taste and not much to savor. Not on our list for choice wines.

Comments: This wine used to be one that we really enjoyed in the past. However, this bottle was a sharp unpleasant taste. Even if it was just this bottle, it broke one of our major important factor's in a wine and that is consistency. So, it has now dropped off of our list of wines we would try again.

Comments: We bought this wine on sale at the grocery store. We didn't expect too much, and it delivered. We will not be buying this one again. It was very "tin" tasting and not very good. Too bad, since sometimes this is how you find pleasant surprises. Oh well, maybe next time.

Comment: (Sat. June 27th 2015) A very nice tasting malbec. A nice surprise, since it has a screw top bottle. I guess it's a good example, to not judge a wine by it's cap.
Comments: Lately we have had great surprises with the Malbec's. This one especially. We had a feeling this would be good, upon opening the bottle and could immediately detect the pleasing aroma of the wine. The taste supplemented the aroma. We will definitely try it again. I hope it wasn't just a fluke! We'll find out next time.

Update - This Malbec continues to please. A great smooth taste and notice the price is better this time. We will definitely purchase this one again.

Update (Sat. Mar 2nd 2013) - The price really dropped, but the wine stayed consistent. I will have to remember this one, especially if the price stays this low.

Comments: The initial aroma was pleasant and provided some promise. Upon first sip, the taste was smooth to the palette, however it was followed by a stingy taste. Overall, the wine was good tasting but not as good as we would like it to be. Probably won't be trying it again with so many more wines to taste.

Comments: Lately we have been pleasantly surprised with the Malbec's we have been purchasing. They have been very tasty, a nice full bodied red wine, and not too light nor heavy. This one was no exception. Either our palettes are adjusting or there just putting out better tasting Malbec's. Either way, we will continue to add Malbec's to our selections while we are enjoying them.

Comments: This was a surprising good tasting wine. I believe we have tried a similar one before, however, this was exceptional. We had not had this good a wine, especially in the Malbec's. We will try it again to make sure that it is consistantly good. It may even become one of our favorites.

Comments: A very nice Malbec. I was surprised, since most Malbec's that I have tasted, seemed to be a little on the week side. This one was full of flavor and rich. Given a chance, I'll try it again, if only to verify its consistency.

Comments: A very nice wine, pleasantly surprised. I say surprised, since in the past, I had found that Malbec's in general, seemed on the weak side. Perhaps, I just wasn't trying the right Malbec's. This went very well with dinner, even though they say you should have red wines with red meat, I find they are fine with whatever you like to eat. I had pork chops at this time, and was very happy with the results. Overall, a nice wine that I would like to try again.

Comments: I guess me and Malbec's in general don't get along. It was an ok wine, but I just didn't care much for it. Especially at this cost, I have other choices that I enjoy and some are even less expensive. Its definitely nothing against the Coppola collection, since I like many of their wines. Maybe its the Malbec grape that I don't have a palette for.....
