Comments: Clos du Bois has always been a consistently smooth full bodied wine. We originally liked their Merlot's, but the Cabernet's are also a favorite of ours.

Comments: An amazing full bodied wine and great tasting. The heaviness makes the perfect combination with red meat. Great tasting chilled as well.

Comments: Just like the Edna Valley Merlot, it is a great tasting wine! Even after it has been chilled, it still tastes great. We hope that it will continue to be as consistent upon the next purchase.

Comments: (Sat. June 2th 2015 Update): In addition to consistancy, we noticed that it's almost better the second night, after it has been chilled in the fridge. 
Comments: (Sat. Nov. 23rd 2014 Update): This one is a 2010, but the label and taste is consistent.
Comments: As we can see from previous years, this wine has modified their label. However, it seems that the taste has improved. It was a good tasting cabernet in the past, but this year seemed exceptionally good. Along with the price, it's a value that's hard to beat. A very good tasting wine. I hope the next time we purchase it, it remains a consistent good tasting wine.

Thorny Rose Cabernet 2009

Comments: The screw on cap should have tipped us off. But we tried it anayway, since we have been pleasantly surprised in the past. However, not in this case. Upon removing the cap, the smell was strong, stingy and very metallic. The first sip was stingy and unfortunately, the rest was poured down the sink.

Comments: We haven't had this brand for awhile, but it never fails to satisfy. Pedroncelli Cabernet's have a full bodied flavor. One of our favorites and continues to be one of our favorites.

Comments: (Sat. Aug 9th 2014) Continues to be one of our favorites. The Cabernet Sauvignon is a full bodied wine and Yellow Tail consistantly produces great wines for amazingly low prices. 
Comments: Always a consistent great tasting wine. Even after it is chilled. Remains one of our favorites. As all Yellow Tails, a great consistent, surprising wine!
Comments: Unfortunately,  I don't remember much about when or where I bought this wine this time. It is labelled 2012 and continues with its consistency of flavor.

Comments: Yes, believe it or not, this wine surprisingly became one of our favorites. Since our first purchase, we have been surprised by its pleasant taste and at this price, you cannot go wrong. Its consistency is another of its many positive traits. A great tasting wine!

Comments: This brand of wine is one of our staples. It always is pretty consistent with its taste regardless of the year. It is a very good Cabernet with a firm taste, yet not overbearing. Always an enjoyable wine.

Comments: Although the Merlot is one of my favorites from Clos Du Bois, this Cabernet is very good. Good enough to make us try it again. Very firm, bold and yet, smooth, only a silght initial bite, due to its strength. We will definitely try it again.

Comments: A surprisingly nice wine. A very nice bouquet and an interesting buttery flavor after a short crisp sharpness, probably due to the strength of the Cabernet. A nice surprise which we would like to try again. If its consistent, then we have a winner.

Comments: This wine was surprisingly good. It was a sweeter and thicker wine and not watery. These wines are the reason we like to experiment and discover new and enjoyable tasting wines. it would be interesting to see if they are consistent with the 2009 version.
