Comments: We haven't had much luck with Malbec's. They tend to be very light in taste. Unfortunately, this falls into the same category. Light in taste and not much to savor. Not on our list for choice wines.

Thorny Rose Cabernet 2009

Comments: The screw on cap should have tipped us off. But we tried it anayway, since we have been pleasantly surprised in the past. However, not in this case. Upon removing the cap, the smell was strong, stingy and very metallic. The first sip was stingy and unfortunately, the rest was poured down the sink.

Pedroncelli Cabernet 2009

Comments: We haven't had this brand for awhile, but it never fails to satisfy. Pedroncelli Cabernet's have a full bodied flavor. One of our favorites and continues to be one of our favorites.

Comments: The Coppola brand always seems to bring a nice consistency to their taste, regardless of type. A very good wine, which I know we will purchase again. Even if not this particular type one of their other types of wine.

Comments: Remains one of our favorite wine staples. A reliably consistent good tasting wine. I think I liked the 2008 the best, but its gone up in price as expected. Either a great buy!
